Real estate data company Trepp is moving from its current location on Madison Avenue to new digs at the Rockefeller Center complex, The Real Deal has learned.
Trepp signed a 10-year lease for 25,000 square feet at Tishman Speyer’s 27-story office building at 600 Fifth Avenue, also known as the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Building, a spokesperson for Trepp said. The data firm will occupy the seventh floor of the 409,000-square-foot property, located at the corner of West 48th Street and part of the 19-building Rockefeller Center complex.
Trepp, known for its CMBS analytics tool, has been at its current space, Shorenstein Properties’ 24-story building at 477 Madison Avenue, since 1989. Trepp occupies more than 40,000 square feet there, according to CoStar.
CBRE brokered the deal, which included a custom renovation of the space.
Trepp’s CEO Annemarie DiCola described the revamped space as “creative and collaborative” in a statement. The CBRE brokers on Trepp’s end of the deal included Mary Ann Tighe, Rob Hill, Ben Friedland, Ramneek Rikhy and Marlee Teplitzky.
Other tenants at the building include financial firms Bridgewater Advisors, Lazard.com and Savoy Bank. Canadian fashion retailer Aritzia and Ann Taylor, among others, occupy the retail unit.
