A lot went down in the world of real estate this past week — and Instagram was there for us to document it all.
Here’s a look at some of the most interesting uploads from around New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
1. Los Angeles-based photographer Hunter Kerhart catches the Wilshire Grand Center right down the middle in this superb sunset shot.
2. The Manhattan skyline was a lot less crowded in 1940 (but certainly on its way up), as seen in this #TBT from Getty Images.
3. Who’s the tallest of them all? Jamie Rose Maniscalco, a commercial broker at the Keyes Company, posted this sky-high snap of Panorama Tower.
4. JDS Development gives us a behind the scenes look of 111 West 57 Street, which is poised to become New York City’s tallest residential tower.
5. The city’s firefighters put out a five-alarm blaze at 565 West 144th Street in Manhattan on Friday. The fire ripped through the apartment building, displacing 40 families.
6. The Valdivieso Group posted this pic of a glowing SLS Lux Brickell. The under-construction condo tower is wrapped in blue LED lights.
7. Two window washers were trapped near the top of the Time Warner Center earlier this week. The pair escaped through a window after dangling at a 45-degree angle on the 70th floor.
8. Here’s a view of Los Angeles you don’t see every day. DTLAexplorer catches the city from up in the clouds on the descent into LAX.
9. Going up: Susan De Vries (aka @studiotinker) shared this shot of the Federal Building and Post Office in Brooklyn on a clear, crisp day.
10. Color me yellow, orange and turquoise.
