Thinx, a maker of “period-proof” underwear, is expanding at RXR Realty’s Starrett-Lehigh Building.
The startup, which currently occupies 7,464 square feet on the third floor, is moving into a 22,285-square-foot space on the seventh floor, the Commercial Observer reported. The sublease from fashion company Tommy Hilfiger runs through June 2020. Newmark Knight Frank represented Thinx and JLL represented Tommy Hilfiger.
The fashion company has been looking for subtenants since at least February, when it signed a deal to move to 285 Madison Avenue. The fashion company leases more than 285,000 square feet in the 2.3 million-square-foot building at 601 West 26th Street.
In August, payroll services company Justworks agreed to sublet 60,000 square feet from Tommy Hilfiger. [CO] — Konrad Putzier
