With a slightly lower asking price of $3.25 million famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s last house is back on the market.
The 3,095-square-foot house was designed by Wright in 1959 and completed in 1967, shortly after his death by a former apprentice. The house is known for its circular design and open concept floorplan, the house provides panoramic views of Phoenix and Palm Canyon, according to Architect magazine.
The three-bedroom (converted from its original five bedrooms) was last listed in 2016 for $3.5 million. Arizona brokerage The Agency is handling the listing.
Though the authenticity of the design is not under question, as can sometimes become a factor for architecturally significant buildings, Wright’s properties are by no means a slam dunk for brokers to sell. [Architect] — Erin Hudson
