Tishman Speyer leasing executive Calvin Farley ditched the company after 32 years to start his own business.
It wasn’t immediately clear what kind of company Farley plans to launch. His sister is married to Jerry Speyer, father of current CEO Rob Speyer, the New York Post reported.
Rob notified staff of the departure in an email earlier this month. “Calvin played a leading role in our revitalization of the Chrysler Building, 666 Third Avenue and the Trylons … Over the years, Calvin drove many of the largest leasing transactions in New York, such as Deloitte, Lazard, Saatchi, MetLife, Jefferies and most recently Pfizer,” he wrote.
Farley joined Tishman Speyer out of high school and started working on the west coast, before switching over to Chicago and New York. [NYP] — Konrad Putzier
