One of the city’s narrowest house — spanning 7 feet in width — hits the London market at an asking price of $1.4 million. That works out to about $20,000 per foot of width of the three-story home in the southwest area of the city.

“The property has been cleverly designed with well-placed storage and bespoke fittings to maximize the 1,058-square-feet of living accommodation,” Savills Wandsworth’s Jasper Colliver told Mansion Global

Known as the Slim House, it was renovated by architecture firm, Alma-nac, in 2013 to increase its footage by about a third adding two rooms for entertaining onto the main floor in addition to a kitchen, another master bedroom and three more bedrooms which were added in the upper levels of the home.

The seller, Aimee Luther, purchased the home in 2014 and released a statement about her decision to list the property. “This house has a slice of everything but on a slightly slimmer scale and no downsides of having neighbours above or below,” her statement read. [Mansion Global]Erin Hudson
