A fire tore through a Little Italy building Saturday, injuring 13 people.
The fire damaged the renowned restaurant Angelo’s of Mulberry Street and the floor of the apartment above at 146 Muberry Street, the Daily News reported.
Veracity Equities bought the six-story building in 2015 for $13.25 million, property records show.
The blaze broke out around 7:40 a.m., according to the News. Investigators were still trying to determine what caused the fire.
