Originally built as a church in 1835, the building at 48 Madison Street in Sag Harbor has been reinvented by Bates + Masi Architects as a modern home, but it has lingered on the market since 2015 when it was listed for $23.5 million. This week it got another $2 million price chop, with the sale price now at $8.995 million. The 15,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms and sits on a half-acre of land. The property is represented by Lori Schiaffino of Compass. [Curbed]
