Mel Brooks’ former Water Mill home back on the market for nearly $12M

The 2,000-square-foot home on an acre of beachfront is back on the market for $11.9 million. Comedy icon Mel Brooks and his wife, actress Anne Bancroft, bought the three-bedroom, three-bathroom place in 2000 for $3 million, but Brooks sold it in 2010 for $5.3 million. The place changed hands several times thereafter and is again back on the market, offering sunrise views over the Atlantic and sunsets over Mecox Bay.
