“Big Three” consulting firm McKinsey & Co. sealed a deal to relocate from Midtown to the World Trade Center.
The global consulting firm signed a 15-year lease for 186,000 square feet at Silverstein Properties’ 3 World Trade Center, the New York Post reported.
McKinsey will relocate roughly 900 employees from Fisher Brothers’ 55 East 52nd Street. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but asking rents at Silverstein’s 80-story tower have been reported to be in the $80s per square foot.
The 2.5 million-square-foot building is set to open in June, with about 900,000 square feet already spoken for, according to the Post. Media giant GroupM is the property’s largest tenant, with about 700,000 square feet.
