Manhattan’s luxury market notched 21 contracts at $4 million and above last week.

Harry Macklowe and CIM Group’s 432 Park Avenue took the top spot for the fourth time this year, with unit 93A going into contract with an asking price of $40.75 million, according to Olshan Realty’s weekly market report. The sponsor unit measures 3,952 square feet, which puts the contract price at more than $10,300 per square foot.

Elsewhere in the building, Carly Englander, wife of hedge fund billionaire Israel Englander, was revealed earlier this year as the buyer of two combined penthouses on the building’s 91st floor last year for $60.8 million.

Movie producer Bob Weinstein’s duplex at the Beresford co-op at 211 Central Park West took the week’s No. 2 spot. The 14-room apartment had a final asking price of $26.5 million, down 10 percent from the original asking price of $29.5 million when it hit the market in September.

Weinstein paid $20 million for the home when he bought it in late 2004. The Hollywood producer last year sold his Upper West Side townhouse for $15 million.

The week’s asking price sales volume totaled $221 million, with a median asking price of $6.9 million. Luxury homes spent an average of 450 days on the market, with an average discount of 4 percent from the original asking price to the final asking price. [Olshan Realty] – Rich Bockmann
