A fire broke out Monday afternoon at 170 West 23rd Street, a six-story property that’s home to a 120-unit condominium building known as the Chelsea 7th.
Christian, a resident of the building, was coming in from the gym and saw smoke and firemen in the lobby.
“I think everyone got out,” he said. “I’m really anxious to get back inside to see what happened.”
