SL Green Realty is set to open its doors at Tower 46 to two new companies.
The realty investment trust last month signed TravelClick, a hotel industry software provider, and an investment firm, Milburn Ridgefield Corporation, to a pair of 22,500-square-feet spaces, according to the Commercial Observer.
The two companies are expected to move into the tower at 55 West 46th Street by the end of the year. TravelClick, which is currently based at 7 Times Square, will take over the 27th floor, while Milburn Ridgefield will shift its New York City office from 1270 Avenue of the Americas to the 31st floor. They will join law firm Nixon Peabody, and broadcaster Comcast, both of which moved into the building in 2016.
Separate teams of brokers at CBRE represented each of the three parties. Asking rents at the 34-story tower were close to $90 per square foot, the Observer reported, citing sources.
Last October, the realty investment firm landed $195 million to refinance a loan on the Midtown tower, which replaced an existing $190 million loan from Wells Fargo.
Aside from leasing deals at its Midtown tower, SL Green has been making large investments across the city. In April, it provided developers of the Carbrini Medical Center in Gramercy Square with $380 million in refinancing. [CO] — David Jeans
