Hamptons buyers claim they didn’t know Bravo would be filming “trashy” show next door

Not everyone is excited to see reality TV celebrities, especially in the Hamptons.

After laying down millions for house in Water Mill, Long Island, at least three new homeowners had an unwelcome surprise when they discovered season three of Bravo’s “Summer House” show would be filming next door, according to the New York Post. The new residents of the gated community claim they only found out when notices about filming were distributed.

“Not one of the buyers was advised before closing that their multimillion-dollar retreat is next door to where a trashy reality TV show is being filmed,” one unnamed source told the Post. “Apparently, [one family] watched the show and are now worried that their 3-year-old grandchild will be watching people having sex in the woods.”

The raucous reputation of “Summer House” has a track record of alienating the locals along the well-to-do coastline. The Bravo show has been banned from filming at several businesses throughout the Hamptons as well as in Montauk, where the first season was shot.
