Rezoning vote for White Plains Mall redevelopment set for next week

The White Plains Common Council will vote on a zoning change needed to redevelop the White Plains Mall next week, LoHud reported. If the council approves the change, the 1970s-built mall will ultimately be razed, making way for a mixed-use project containing apartments, a food hall, retail and restaurant space, co-working space and green space, in addition to parking, according to the outlet. The mall project could be the first of several projects in White Plains’ newly-created “transit development zone.” [LoHud]
