Private equity firm GoldPoint Partners is taking nearly 30,000 square feet of space at Fisher Brothers’ 299 Park Avenue.
The company is leaving its digs at 51 Madison Avenue for a roughly 30,000- square-foot office on the 37th floor of the Park Avenue tower, the New York Post reported. The terms of the deal weren’t immediately available but the asking rent was in the high $90s per square foot.
The firm expects to move in the second quarter of 2019.
Fisher Brothers plans to overhaul the building’s lobby, tapping the Rockwell Group to redesign the space. The 1.2-million-square foot office tower has seen a few new leases since the beginning of this year. In February, King Street Capital Management signed a 10-year lease for roughly 60,000 square feet in the tower. A month later, financial firm B. Riley inked a 29,000-square-foot lease for the entire 21st floor.
