A subsidiary of Minnesota-based business services firm Deluxe Corporation plans to take the full 37th floor of Fisher Brothers’ 605 Third Avenue.
FMCG Direct, a financial services marketing firm, just inked a 10-year lease for 21,229 square feet at the Midtown East tower, Commercial Observer reported. The company is expected to leave its current digs at Vornado Realty Trust’s 90 Park Avenue in the first quarter of 2019.
Terms of the deal weren’t immediately clear but asking rent was in the low $80s per square foot.
Cushman & Wakefield‘s Ryan Tibbits and Harry Krausman represented Deluxe in the deal. Fisher Brothers was represented by Andrew Ross, also of Cushman, along with their in-house team of Marc Packman and Clark Briffel.
Fisher Brothers recently completed a $25 million renovation of the 1.1 million-square-foot tower — ahead of the district’s rezoning, which is expected to encourage other renovations and overhauls of the area’s aging office building stock. In October, Travel consultant Valerie Wilson Travel signed a 25,000-square-foot lease in the building. [CO] — Kathryn Brenzel
