Ion Media renewed its 40,000-square-foot offices north of Times Square.
The Florida-based broadcasting company signed a 10-year extension covering the entire 30th and 31st floors and part of the 2nd floor at SL Green Realty’s 810 Seventh Avenue, the landlord confirmed to The Real Deal.
Representatives for Ion could not be immediately reached for comment.
Taking rent for the higher floors was in the low $70 per square foot, while the taking rent in the base was around the mid $60s per square foot, according to CompStak.
Newmark Knight Frank’s Daniel Levine represented Ion in the negotiations, and declined to comment.
SL Green bought the 41-story, 765,000-square-foot 810 Seventh Avenue for $518.56 million in 2007 as part of its $4 billion acquisition of Reckson Associates.
The landlord last year signed real estate investment firm Pretium Partners to slightly more than 17,000 square feet in the building.
Fertility clinic CCRM also recently expanded its offices in the building to about 26,000 square feet.
