A supportive housing organization is planning a residential building with 108 units in the Bronx.
The nonprofit Housing and Services Inc. filed permits with the Department of Buildings on Thursday for a 13-story, 108-unit apartment building with a community facility in the Bronx at 211 East 203rd Street. The building would stand 135 feet tall and span about 70,000 square feet.
The site is currently a parking lot.
Housing and Services Inc. did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The nonprofit’s other buildings include Kenmore Hall in Gramercy Park, which serves homeless veterans and people living with HIV/AIDS, the Narragansett on the Upper West Side, which is for low-income New Yorkers, and the Cecil in Harlem, which is for the formerly homeless.
The Stagg Group filed plans last year to build a 68-unit residential building at 186 St. Georges Crescent in Bedford Park and received a $50.9 million loan in June for their 163-unit Bedford Park project at 150 Van Cortlandt Avenue East.
