Fisher Brothers secures huge advisory firm lease at Park Avenue Plaza

Duff & Phelps presently occupies 60K sf in building under sublease with insurer AON

Advisory firm Duff & Phelps signed a lease for more than 90,000 square feet at Fisher BrothersPark Avenue Plaza.

The company inked a 16-year deal for 91,000 square feet on the 45-story tower’s 15th, 16th and 17th floors, Crain’s reported.

Duff & Phelps occupies 62,413 square feet of space on a sublease with the insurance firm AON.

“It is always a source of pride when blue-chip firms like Duff & Phelps and Evercore transition from a sublease to a direct, long-term relationship,” Fisher Brothers partner Winston Fisher said in a statement.

Savills Studley brokers Mike Catalano, Greg Taubin and Pete Cento represented Duff & Phelps in the deal.

The deal helps stem the flow of tenants leaving the 1.2 million-square-foot building at 55 East 52nd Street.

BlackRock is relocating from the tower to Hudson Yards, where it inked a deal for 800,000 square feet. And consulting firm McKinsey & Company is moving to 3 World Trade Center.

Earlier this year, financial services firm Evercore signed a lease in the building to expand from the 130,000 square feet it currently occupies to 350,000 square feet. [Crain’s] – Rich Bockmann
