Mark your calendars: These are New York’s top real estate events next week

Next week brings a few new real estate events!

On Oct. 16, Bisnow is hosting its NYC Affordable Housing and Community Development from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the New York Bar Association, 42 West 44th Street. Attend and discuss the rising cost of construction and its impact on affordable housing, what opportunities exist in investing in the sector and more. Nathan Taft of Jonathan Rose Companies, Andy Cohen of BRP Development, Victor Sozio of Ariel Property Advisors, among others, will provide speeches at the event.

On Oct. 18, The Real Deal is hosting its first ever subscriber-only bike tour of new development on the High Line. BYOB (bring your own bike) and join our publisher, Amir Korangy for a leisurely look at the new projects cropping up in the neighborhood.

On Oct. 22, the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS (HGAR) and the Staten Island Board of REALTORS (SIBOR) are hosting their 2018 Global Real Estate Summit NYC from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway. Attend for a day with brokers, investors and other professionals in the real estate market. Stefan Swanepoel will provide the keynote speech at the event.
