Here’s what the $10M-$20M NYC investment sales market looked like last week

Plastic surgeon Sydney Coleman sells Tribeca building, Carmine Limited buys two West Village properties

In the world of mid-market New York City investment sales last week, plastic surgeon Sydney Coleman sold a Tribeca building and Carmine Limited bought two West Village properties.

1.) Carmine Limited bought two apartment buildings in the West Village for $18.9 million. The properties, at 240-242 West 10th Street, are two six-story properties with a total of 44 units, 28 of which are rent-regulated. The seller is Julian Whiting, who has owned the buildings since at least the 1960s, records show. Mautner-Glick Corporation will manage the assets on behalf of Carmine Limited. Venture Capital Properties’ Joseph Soufeh, Yoel Sarraf, Itan Rahmani and Ryan Sabet represented both sides of the deal.

2.) Plastic surgeon Sydney R. Coleman sold a five-story mixed-use building in Tribeca for $14 million. The property, at 44 Hudson Street, is a five-story building with three apartments and four commercial units. The buyer is Prime Manhattan Development LLC, an entity controlled by Grant Shapolsky. The building last sold in 2002 for $3.6 million, according to records.
