Compass and Elliman brokers are teaming up to move three units in Superior Ink

The apartments are currently listed separately for a combined total of $19.5M

Three brokers are trying to reel in a nearly $20 million deal at Superior Ink, the 17-story condo in the West Village built in 2009 by Related Companies.

Compass broker Brian Lewis is handling the listing for unit 6C in the Robert A.M. Stern-designed building, while Douglas Elliman’s Brett Miles and Andrew Azoulay have units 6D and 6E. The combined total pricing for each individual unit comes to $19.5 million.

If all three properties were combined, the new unit would span about half the floor at 400 West 12th Street.

Though they haven’t officially co-broked the units yet, Lewis confirmed the plans were in motion.

“We’re literally creating the floor plates as we speak,” he said on Saturday. “We’re doing a whisper about the possibility of having a megahome there.”

He said his client, the seller of 6C, who is a philanthropist living predominantly outside New York, “embraced” the idea.

Miles also confirmed the plan. “Residents love the building so much that many have stayed by buying their neighboring units,” he said, noting that he was aware of several other “large-format combinations” in the building.

Lewis’ listing is a three-bedroom corner unit that was previously owned by five-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson. Miles and Azoulay’s units are a two-bed and one-bed without river views and are already being marketed together.
