It’s a spoonful of sugar for Brooklyn Heights.
Actress Emily Blunt, star of “Mary Poppins Returns,” and her actor husband John Krasinski bought two condos at the renovation of the prewar The Standish building for a combined $11 million.
Blunt and Krasinski plan to combine the two units, which they purchased last year through a trust, into one apartment taking up an entire floor of the building, the Wall Street Journal reported.
They join current resident Matt Damon, who broke Brooklyn records when he bought a penthouse in the building for $16.75 million at the end of 2018.
The Standish originally opened as a hotel in 1903. The limestone building served as an inspiration for the Superman comics; Clark Kent supposedly lived on the fifth floor.
DDG and Westbrook Partners purchased the property in 2014 for $60 million, and converted it into a 33-unit condo building with a total projected sellout of $120 million.
The Standish now has a children’s playroom, a fitness center, and a roof terrace with views of the Manhattan skyline.
Blunt is known for her roles in “Edge of Tomorrow” and “The Girl on the Train.” She and Krasinski recently starred together in “A Quiet Place.”
