Mike Fabbri — a digital strategist turned agent who most recently called the Corcoran Group home — has migrated to Nest Seekers International.
Fabbri, who previously did stints at Douglas Elliman and Compass, is joining “Million Dollar Listing: New York” star Ryan Serhant’s 50-person team, he said. “It was about getting to the next level and building my business,” he said.
Fabbri’s business (and life) partner, Scott Francis, is staying at Corcoran.
“It was a business decision for me,” said Fabbri, who sold about $15 million in real estate last year. “Ryan told me, ‘Let’s double that. Let’s triple that.’ And I believe him. It was one of those opportunities I couldn’t turn down.”
Fabbri has hopped between some of the city’s biggest firms in recent years, including Elliman (where he was in charge of digital and social media) and Compass (where he helped agents develop their brands). In 2016, he and Francis joined Corcoran, where they were named rookies of the year.
To date, Fabbri has focused primarily on Manhattan resales but he’s looking to expand his reach. Serhant’s role on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing: New York” was a “huge plus,” Fabbri said.
“Any influence you can garner is only going to help your platform,” he said. He dismissed the idea that agents on Serhant’s team live off business he throws their way. “It’s not throwing me business, it’s about taking my strengths and investing in those.”
