Morris County developer JMF Properties broken ground on a 110-unit residential development in the historic borough of Glen Ridge last week. The development, located steps from downtown Montclair and the NJ Transit Bay Street station, is the second development under the JMF Property brand name Clarus. Plans at the site, located at 275 Baldwin Street, call for one and two-bedroom floorplans. 8,500 square feet of amenity space, including a wellness center with a fitness room, lobby lounge, billiards room and business center, to name a few, will be available to residents at Clarus Glen Ridge. JMF said a 220-space garage adjacent to the property for residents has already been completed. NJ.com said the project is slated to open in spring 2020. JMF Properties, RD Management and Accurate Builders and Developers recently closed the acquisition of a 14-acre site on the former Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne.  The closing in Bayonne will enable to joint-venture partners to develop 651 luxury residences proximal to the Bayonne Golf Club. JMF properties, as previously reported by The Real Deal, broke ground on a $50 million development in Plainfield in September 2017. The development, known as Quin Sleepy Hollow, added 212 luxury units to the City of Plainfield. [NJBIZ]
