The New York Residential Agent Continuum’s video depicts its own members as Bening’s character, real estate agent Carolyn Burnham, trying to sell an apartment. Eight agents take turns channeling Burnham in the cleverly written four-minute video.
The agents include Corcoran’s Deanna Kory and Dana Power; Sotheby’s International Realty’s Cathy Taub and Jeremy Stein, and Compass’ Heather McDonough Domi, Toni Haber, Karen Kelley and Sean Murphy Turner.
Compass’ Leonard Steinberg plays the angelic “Spirit of Markets Yet to Come” character, comforting a weeping Burnham played in that scene by Murphy Turner. And the Corcoran Group’s power couple Meris and Kenny Blumstein play disgruntled clients.

The film was first shown at NYRAC’s holiday party at HFZ Capital Group’s sales gallery for the XI last week before being released to the public. Founding chairpersons Taub and McDonough Domi said the group decided to produce a video to “add some levity to what has been a challenging year for many agents.”
When asked if this is the start of an annual tradition, the founders said “anything is possible.”
