Michael Bloomberg is moving his presidential campaign headquarters from the Upper East Side to Times Square.

The new headquarters will open early in January at 229 West 43rd Street on the eighth floor, according to the Wall Street Journal. There are now more than 300 people working on the campaign, and it has outgrown its space on the Upper East Side.

The space will utilize an open-office layout and include countdown clocks showing the number of days until the general election and Super Tuesday.

Columbia Property Trust owns the building’s office space, and Jared Kushner–a senior adviser at the White House and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law–owns multiple retail floors at the property. Kushner Companies has a $285 million loan on the property that needs to be reworked after multiple tenants in the property broke their leases.

Bloomberg’s campaign has recently opened offices in states such as North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. He held a breakfast meeting about the 2020 race in New York on Dec. 19 with several of the city’s real estate power brokers, including Jon Gray, Jerry Speyer and Bill Rudin. [WSJ— Eddie Small
