In move fit for a plotline on “Million Dollar Listing New York,” Compass swooped in on one of the show’s co-stars’ new development projects.
The Corcoran Group’s Steve Gold, who’s featured on the Bravo show, was the exclusive sales agent at Circa Central Park since 2018. But that changed this week when three apartments at the 38-unit condominium in Harlem went live on StreetEasy with Compass broker Rachel Glazer as the listing agent.
Circa, developed by Artimus, overlooks Central Park from its northwest vantage point on the corner of West 110th Street. When Gold landed the exclusive there were 21 apartments left to sell.
During Gold’s solo tenure he sold Circa’s 3,734-square-foot penthouse for $9.45 million, setting a record for uptown Manhattan as the most expensive sale north of 96th Street on the Upper West Side and 102nd Street on the Upper East Side at about $2,531 per square foot.
The three units now listed with Glazer, who joined Compass from Brown Harris Stevens in August, have seen their asking prices shaved down with discounts ranging from 4 percent to 18 percent. Her Circa listings now range from $2.69 million for a three-bedroom to $5.99 million for four-bedroom with a massive 2,254-square-foot terrace. She declined to comment.
Glazer’s entrance doesn’t mean Gold is on his way out, however. Gold still has three listings online and the celebrity broker said via a statement that he’s proud of his work at the project to date and will continue to handle sales for Artimus.
Gold’s listings include a five-bedroom unit asking $8.2 million and two three-bedroom apartments both asking just shy of $3 million each. Artimus did not respond to requests for comment.
