There’s a familiar face back at the Corcoran Group: Brennan Zahler, who started at the firm 18 years ago, is the newest senior managing director at the company’s Soho office. The move comes after Zahler spent five years as the director of sales at Warburg Realty’s Tribeca office.

Zahler will lead a team of agents with Paula Manikowski, who has been the senior managing director of the Soho office for the last seven years. He succeeds Tim Cass, who worked with Manikowski before leaving to head up two of the firm’s other locations in early 2020.

“Now, with business really picking up and things getting very active, [it’s] the perfect time to bring another manager back into Soho to continue to build the office,” Manikowski said.

A spokesperson for Warburg wished Zahler the best in a statement, and said the firm is “currently in active talks” to fill his role.

Zahler started his career in 2003 out of Corcoran’s East Side office, and stayed there until 2014, when Town Residential recruited him to run its Greenwich Village office. “I basically grew up at Corcoran,” he said.

“When he started his career with us, he was hard working, eager to learn and he’s leveraged those strengths to become a highly respected real estate leader. I am confident that our Soho agents will achieve even greater success with his support and guidance,” Corcoran president and CEO Pamela Liebman said in a statement.
