Actress Julia Fox is headed to Harlem.

The “Uncut Gems” star and her model and photographer pal Richie Shazam Khan paid $2.9 million for the four-story townhouse on West 123rd Street, a block from Marcus Garvey Park, according to property records, which show that the pair secured a mortgage from First Republic just weeks before the bank’s collapse.

The 4,800-square-foot townhouse was listed last September for $3.65 million. The asking price was lowered three times, eventually dipping below $3 million in January.

Listing broker Stefani Berkin of R New York said she felt the initial ask was too high, but it was the lowest number the seller had heard. She said he previously had it listed for over $4 million in 2020, but a contract fell through.

“I came in and had to have a really tough conversation with my seller, the way I think a lot of brokers in this market need to do,” said Berkin. “If it’s not priced to sell, it’s not going to trade.”

Compass’ Esther Kogan represented Fox and Khan.

Built in 1888 but recently renovated, the seven-bedroom, five-bathroom home has a first floor that can serve as its own apartment or as part of a lower duplex, with a second duplex spanning the third and fourth floors, according to a listing on StreetEasy. The house is 20 feet wide and 58 feet deep.

The ground floor has an eat-in kitchen with two walls of exposed brick and a bedroom with a wood-burning fireplace overlooking the front patio. The third floor has a large living room with another fireplace, a kitchen and a dining room with an additional fireplace. The primary suite comes with a custom steam shower and a large walk-in closet leading to a laundry room.

Fox, a model, actress and living internet meme, had a career breakthrough in 2019, when she starred opposite Adam Sandler in the acclaimed film “Uncut Gems.” She subsequently became known for dating rapper Kanye West.

Earlier this year, Fox uploaded a tour of her “underwhelming” New York City apartment to TikTok detailing her “small mouse problem,” among other things and “dividing the internet” according to Vogue.

The pair aren’t the only celebrities to dabble in Harlem’s brownstone market. Actor Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, set a neighborhood record last May when they sold their nearby townhouse at 2036 Fifth Avenue for $7.1 million.
