Robert Futterman, one of New York’s top retail brokers who self-destructed from substance abuse, is back for a second act.

Futterman has returned to Newmark, which acquired his namesake brokerage RKF in 2018 and fired the dealmaker several months later. Afterward, Futterman’s struggles with alcohol use came to light.

“Futterman will leverage his extensive knowledge of the retail sector and expertise in industry trends to provide real estate advisory and consulting services to our retail professionals,” the spokesperson said.

Futterman could not be immediately reached for comment.
