Robert Futterman, one of New York’s top retail brokers who self-destructed from substance abuse, is back for a second act.

Futterman has returned to Newmark, which acquired his namesake brokerage RKF in 2018 and fired the dealmaker several months later. Afterward, Futterman’s struggles with alcohol use came to light.

A spokesperson for Newmark said Futterman is now working as an advisor supporting the retail brokerage group.
