Townhouses topped the Brooklyn luxury market for the second week in a row.
The borough saw 27 contracts — 13 condos, 12 townhouses and two co-ops — signed from March 4 to March 10, according to Compass’ weekly report of contracts asking at least $2 million. The total contract volume was $80.8 million.
During the same week last year, there were 16 contracts signed for $50 million.
The priciest deal last week belonged to 297 Pacific Street in Boerum Hill, which last asked $8.5 million.
The 25-foot-wide carriage house initially hit the market at the start of last year, asking $12 million before dropping the price almost 30 percent in June.
The nearly 5,700-square-foot home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and private parking. The four-story house has two wings that flank a 920-square-foot Great Room on the first floor with a 20-foot overhead skylight and stone wood-burning fireplace.
The second floor has a private terrace, while the third floor has a primary suite with two walk-in closets and access to a private fourth-floor study and terrace.

The second most expensive contract was a single-family home at 1135 84th Street in Dyker Heights asking $4.3 million.
Spanning over 5,000 interior square feet, the first floor of the seven-bedroom manse has ceilings over 10 feet high and custom wood molding and trimmings, seven wood-burning fireplaces and stained glass windows, as well as a den that leads out onto a front porch.
The property sits on an 8,000-square-foot lot, also home to a detached two-car garage.

It was the third straight week that contract numbers have trended up in the Brooklyn luxury market — three weeks ago there were 16 contracts signed for $43.3 million in asking volume, and two weeks ago 25 contracts signed for $75.7 million.
The average price per square foot in the most recent period was $1,471 and the average discount was 3 percent.
