New Jersey developer launches new firm, plans boutique condo project

Hudson County developer Lou Mont is launching a new firm called Skyline Development Group LLC and plans to build a 70-unit boutique condominium project in North Bergen, Real Estate NJ reported. Mont, who has been in the business for four decades, will be focus on “mixed-use and high-rise development opportunities in key New Jersey Gold Coast cities” as part of the new venture, the outlet reported. In a statement, Mont called Hudson County a “hotbed of residential development and a sought-after location for both New York metro area buyers and renters,” adding that he was “thrilled to be able to create a fresh company that’s uniquely positioned and staffed to tap into this flourishing market.” The condo project will be 14 stories high and rise on Churchill Road, just across the river from Manhattan.
