Al Capone’s onetime New Jersey hideout hits the market for $1.75M

A historic New Jersey mansion that once served as Al Capone’s hideaway has hit the market for $1.75 million, Mansion Global reported. Capone’s alleged straw man bought the Pine Valley home for him in the 1920s and “added onto [it] to make an estate fit for Capone to hide out in,” according to the outlet. The current 6,500-square-foot home has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a “full-room safe” with concrete walls. The 36-acre property also comes with a two-unit guest house, a tennis court, a pool, a hot tub, a seven-car garage and a dock on Timber Lake. [Mansion Global]
