The co-founder of Equinox is selling his custom-built home in Armonk for $8,888,888, LoHud reported. Vito Errico, who started the fitness company with his siblings, purchased the property the nearly 12,000-square-foot home now sits on back in 2006. The house, known as Five Star House, has six bedrooms, six bathrooms and rooms that are “modest in size but seem larger due to the generous use of natural materials and huge windows that fill the residence with natural light,” according to the outlet. “It was all about creating comfortable spaces; bigger is not always better,” Errico said. Amenities include a “professional quality gym,” an indoor pool, a billiards room, a wine room and a home theater. Houlihan Lawrence’s Lesli Lynne Hammerschmidt has the listing. [LoHud]
