A 246-unit, five-story luxury apartment will rise in Sleepy Hollow as part of the $1 billion Edge-on-Hudson project. Texas-based Hines will be developing it, the Westchester County Business Journal reported. The project at the former General Motors plant site will ultimately include a total of 1,177 units of housing, as well as a hotel, 135,000 square feet of retail space, office space and park land, according to the outlet. Hines’ complex will rise at the entrance of the development. “The community’s mixed-use component, waterfront location and proximity to transit makes it an extremely attractive investment for Hines,” Grang Jaber, managing director of multifamily residential development for Hines’ East Region, said in a statement.
