Key Foods is ditching its Staten Island digs for New Jersey, Real Estate NJ reported. The supermarket co-op is moving its headquarters on Staten Island to an office building on Matawan Road in Old Bridge. It inked a lease for 38,311 square feet of space on the first and second floors of the complex, according to Cushman & Wakefield, which represented landlord Signature Acquisitions. A CBRE team represented Key Foods. New Jersey’s Economic Development Authority signed off on a 10-year, $4.9 million tax credit “aimed at luring the operator to New Jersey from Staten Island” seven months ago, the outlet reported.
