A Brooklyn-based LLC shelled out $1.6 million for three properties in Yonkers, LoHud reported. The unidentified buyer purchased the properties on Poplar Street, which include 14 apartment units and a 10-car parking lot, from a Bronx-based LLC. That entity had bought them for $1 million four years ago, according to the outlet. Mike Nukho of NuRealty Advisors, which brokered the sale, said many investors are focused on Yonkers’ riverside, but that it’s “only natural that things will spill over east.” “Hopefully areas like Poplar and like Chicken Island, which are close by on paper, will start to benefit,” he added.
