Amazon shelled out $7.5 million for a warehouse in Trumbull, the Fairfield County Business Journal reported. The e-commerce giant plans to use the 114,000-square-foot building, which sits on 10 acres, as a distribution center. The building used to house a Read’s Department Store, but hasn’t been occupied for more than 10 years, according to the outlet. In November, the company signed a lease for two properties in Stratford that are also set to become a distribution facility. [FBJ]
