New Jersey Builders Association CEO Carol Ann Short is leaving her position on May 31, according to NJBiz. Short was the first woman to lead the organization and was its CEO for seven years. She announced her resignation in February. Short has been a member of the organization for 30 years and spent time as its director of legal and legislative affairs before becoming CEO in 2013. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy earlier this month named Short to his Restart and Recovery Council, which will provide guidance for reopening the state in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
