Quite a few aren’t getting enough business to come out in the black. Stamford yoga studio owner Bernadette Hutchings Birney said revenue is down 70 percent year-over-year since March and she’s trying to find a larger, temporary space to hold bigger classes that will pencil out. The Riverbrook Regional YMCA saw foot traffic of 65 percent below usual in the first eight days of re-opening and could lose up to a third of its operating budget by the end of the year.
