A 4.6-acre Connecticut estate once owned by the late fashion designer Vince Camuto is headed to the auction block with no reserve, according to Crain’s New York Business.
The Greenwich property has a 16,300-square-foot main house, a tennis court and a pool. It’s been on the market since 2017 and most recently had an asking price of $26.5 million.
The auction is scheduled for Aug. 12 to Aug. 15. Concierge Auctions is managing the sale. Its chairman, Chad Roffers, claimed that the coronavirus pandemic has “really revitalized” demand for large trophy properties near the city, and argued that it “made a lot of sense to take advantage of this window.”
