Colliers International is expanding into engineering with the acquisition of a controlling interest in Red Bank, New Jersey–based engineering firm Maser Consulting, according to Real Estate Weekly.
Maser brought in $167 million in revenue last year and has a staff of around 1,000 across 34 offices in 12 states. It will be rebranded as Colliers Engineering Services in the first half of next year. Maser’s existing leadership will continue to run the firm and retains an equity stake.
The firm provides consulting and design services in a range of industries in addition to real estate development, including infrastructure, transportation, environmental, and telecommunications. [Real Estate Weekly] — Dennis Lynch
