There’s a new Joe Farrell-developed house up for grabs in Bridgehampton. Mere multi-millionaires need not apply.
The mansion at 155 Surfside Drive in the Hamptons was listed this month for a king’s ransom of $125 million, Mansion Global reported. The land traded hands three years ago for $16.5 million, according to property records.
The estate has all the bells and whistles the ultra-wealthy have come to expect on the East End. The 1.5-acre estate has 125 feet of ocean frontage, a salon, a 16-car garage, a pool and a rooftop with a putting green, two bars and a shuffleboard set.
The main house spans 10,000 square feet, meaning a sale at the listing price would work out to $12,500 per square foot. The home comes with eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows grant extravagant ocean views.
A pathway laid out by gardens leads to the front door. On the main level, a large great room leads out to the pool area, which includes a grilling station and a ping-pong table. The kitchen has a glass walkthrough wine closet.
The primary bedroom suite faces the ocean and has an office that overlooks the garden and an attached terrace with an in-ground hot tub. In addition to more bedrooms, the second floor has a gym. An elevator can take residents up and down the home’s four levels.
Serhant’s Craig Beem has the listing. He made the exclusivity of the palatial estate quite clear, telling the publication that the home is for “a billionaire who has disposable cash.”
There are other opportunities for that subset of buyers in the Hamptons, including on the same block as 155 Surfside Drive. A spec home at 165 Surfside was listed a couple of months ago for $80 million. Farrell is developing that property, too.
