Serhant is beefing up its tri-state ranks with an 11-agent team focused on New Jersey’s Bergen County and New York City.

The Adamo Group — led by father-daughter duo Attilio and Victoria Adamo — joined Ryan Serhant’s eponymous brokerage from Coldwell Banker Realty, the firm announced in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Serhant set up shop in New Jersey last year, as part of its expansion to markets across the East Coast. The company established its roots in the area with Compass’ top broker in the state, Michele Zyska. It later brought on board Trompeter Real Estate, a 30-person brokerage focused on Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken and Bayonne.

“We have a big footprint in Bergen County, and we know we can help the Serhant brand with our name because we have the volume,” Victoria said.

The Adamo Group, ranked as one of the top 10 teams at its former firm, notched more than $144 million in sales last year, according to a press release. The group counts among its deals $76 million in sales at a boutique townhouse development in Old Tappan called the Enclave.

“People from over [in Manhattan] don’t realize all the money’s across the Hudson,” VIctoria said. “Everyone’s been sleeping on New Jersey but Ryan.”

Victoria pointed to Serhant’s in-house production, marketing and technology platforms as the motivation for the team’s move.

“Change is good,” Attilio said and added that he thought he “might get stale” if he signed another long-term deal with Coldwell Banker.

The manager of the team’s former office, Terri Buffa, said the firm was proud to have “supported them in the best years of their career.”

“While it’s regrettable to see them leave, we wish them the best of success,” Buffa said.

Attilio said the team would be bringing over 15 listings, including a six-bedroom home in Norwood, a township northwest of Manhattan, asking $2.3 million.

Before moving to Coldwell Banker, Victoria spent a decade with Douglas Elliman, where she worked with the top-performing broker Kirsten Jordan and the Eklund-Gomes Team. Her career has included a number of leasing deals in ndowntown Manhattan, including 440 Washington Street in Tribeca and 70 Vestry Street.

Since last spring, Serhant has expanded to seven states, including, among others, Florida, Pennsylvania, Connecticut in Georgia. Their entry into these markets has been challenged in multiple lawsuits by competing brokerages accusing the three-year-old firm and the agents joining it of stealing clients and information.
