The Hiltons are close to selling a Hamptons vacation property that’s run in the family for 25 years.
Rick and Kathy Hilton agreed to sell their home at 9 Fordune Drive in Southampton, the New York Post reported. The deal has yet to close, meaning the ultimate sale price of the property remains unknown. So does the buyer’s identity.
The Hiltons listed the home for $15 million in February before cutting the price several times since then, according to Zillow. The most recent asking price on the property was $11 million, roughly $1,047 per square foot.
The couple purchased the property in 1999 for $2.4 million, using it as a vacation home when they needed a break from New York City. The home, which sits on a three-acre estate, has been available to rent on several occasions, sometimes with a six-figure monthly price tag attached.
The six-bedroom home stretches 10,500 square feet. Built in the 1990s, the shingle-style home features three wood-burning fireplaces, a library and a formal dining room; the Hiltons updated the home six years ago.
The estate also has a gunite swimming pool, an outdoor dining pavilion and multiple terraces. Ownership of the property comes with deeded access to Fowlers Beach, which is within a mile of the estate.

Rick Hilton, who co-founded both the Hilton & Hyland and Hilton & Hilton brokerages, hosted family vacations and holidays with his wife at the estate as recently as 2019. The property has gotten increasingly less use since the couple moved to Los Angeles in the 2000s; Kathy Hilton has appeared as a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
It’s become a selling spree for the Hiltons, who also recently offloaded a spec mansion in Bel-Air — featured on the reality show — for $25 million. Chinese billionaire Zong Qinghou scored a big discount on the purchase, as it was initially listed for $55 million.
