Alexa Lambert

Broker

It’s fair to say nobody has done more for Compass’s new development arm than Lambert.

The city has long been run by Corcoran and Douglas Elliman’s respective teams, Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. Yet, Compass has pushed its way into the conversation in recent years, and many credit Lambert as the driving force.

On the seller side, Lambert was the top new development broker in the city in 2023, according to The Real Deal’s rankings. “When you look at their new development, it’s just Alexa,” one broker told The Real Deal

When Compass bought long-time New York brokerage Stribling, it shuttered the brand within a few years but held onto Lambert and her deep ties in the development community.

In 2005, Lambert was tapped to sell Elad Group’s ambitious redevelopment of the Plaza Hotel, a project orchestrated by then-CEO Miki Naftali. After Naftali left to start his own firm in 2011, Lambert followed after him and built a multibillion-dollar sales operation in the process.

Lambert is currently heading sales at all of Naftali’s active developments in Manhattan: 255 East 77th on the Upper East Side, The Henry on the Upper West Side and The Willow in Gramercy.
