Alirio Torrealba
Principal, MG Developer
Torrealba has drive, to be sure. He sold cars in his native Venezuela and Puerto Rico before investing with Miami friends in single-family homes in Coral Gables. He later ditched the car business, shifting gears into development in 2014, with luxury residential projects, including condominiums and townhomes, primarily in Coral Gables and the surrounding area.
In the last decade, his MG Developer has completed the 10-story Metro Parc multifamily project in Hialeah, a transit-oriented community with 559 units, as well as townhome projects in Coral Gables. MG Developer also is the developer behind Biltmore Row, a boutique collection of Mediterranean-inspired townhomes steps from the historic Biltmore Hotel, and the Village at Coral Gables, a mixed-use community that blends classic European architecture with modern amenities.
Meanwhile, the firm is digging deeper into Coral Gables, developing Althea Row, an enclave of five townhomes near Miracle Mile. MG landed a $39 million construction loan for the project in 2025. In North Bay Village, Torrealba began pursuing his company’s first condominium development in 2025, partnering with Prosper to build a 30-story high-rise with 147 condo units on a 1-acre site the joint venture bought for $30.9 million. The same year, Torrealba’s firm landed a $105 million construction loan to build another multifamily project in Hialeah.
